The Spot started with a simple idea: food should taste like someone actually tried. Not like a process. Not like a spreadsheet. Like a person standing over a stove, caring about whether the garlic is right.

We're in Selkirk. We shop local when we can. We throw out what we don't use. We'd rather have a shorter menu with things that work than a longer one with things that apologize.

That's not a philosophy we put on a placemat. That's just how we run the kitchen. If you notice the difference, good. If you don't, we'll keep making sure you do.
